Lots of things have changed since my last news post on this way too inactive DA account. I broke up after a relationship of more than one year, got a new girlfriend, I got a new guitar (oh god I'm still so happy with that thing), my writing has changed a lot, and I'm at university now.

Back to today: I'm planning to use this DA account some more. I've noticed that both my own blog and my LJ account just don't work too well, so I'll head back to an artist-driven community and try to find some motivation to write on, on here.

On the note of art: I've found myself something new - I'm considering to try drawing. I am a huge fan of webcomics, especially prettily-drawn ones, such as this: [link] . Maybe not especially pretty, but it gives a good idea of what I like to see.

So, now I'm thinking of trying to draw. I know I'll be horrible at first (my motor skills are worth crying about, I do believe), but just maybe I'll get the hang of a style that works with me.

Now I'm looking for bits of personal experience. No tutorials or Teach Yourself Drawing In 10 Days links or whatnot (I can find those myself, honestly ) but personal bits of advice. It'd be great if I'd finally manage to get this off the ground as I've wanted to draw for quite a while now.
